Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 16:00 - 19:00
Village of Baytowne Wharf
9300 Baytowne Wharf Blvd
Miramar Beach, FL 32550
Trade the grandstands for the Gulf Coast at Baytowne Wharf's Kentucky Derby celebration, Run for the Roses. From 4 to 7 PM on May 2nd, the Events Plaza transforms into a Southern soiree complete with chilled mint juleps, premium bourbon tastings, and all the fanfare of the most exciting two minutes in sports.
Don your finest Derby attire and compete in the Best Dressed Contest for your chance at top prizes β the bigger the hat, the better your odds. A lively silent auction adds to the fun while raising money for Dog Harmony, a nonprofit dedicated to rescue and rehoming dogs throughout the Emerald Coast.
Whether you're watching the race live or just celebrating in style, this is one of the most festive spring events on the beach. General admission starts at $75+tax, and every dollar supports a great cause.
