About this event
The First Friday Concert Series returns to The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center this fall with four months of free, family-friendly live music on the first Friday of each month. Presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and made possible by the St. Joe Community Foundation, the series runs September through December 2026 from 6 to 8 PM.
The 2026 fall lineup brings a mix of Americana, roots rock, and Southern soul to the shaded outdoor pavilion at 85 Origins Main Street. Kick off September with The Pink Stones, then return in October for The Mammals, followed by the legendary Webb Wilder Band in November, and closing out the year in December with Michelle Malone & The Hot Toddies. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome; admission is always free.
Watersound Town Center is the heartbeat of the St. Joe Company's Watersound Origins community, less than 20 minutes east of Destin along US-98. The covered pavilion is shaded and comfortable even on warm fall evenings, and the surrounding shops and restaurants make for an easy dinner-before-the-show routine. Arrive a little early to grab food from one of the nearby restaurants and claim a good spot under the pavilion — this series draws a loyal crowd from across the 30A corridor.
Best for: Families, couples, and 30A locals looking for a free, laid-back evening of live music in a beautiful town-center setting
What to expect: Free outdoor concert 6–8 PM under The Pavilion, rotating artists each month, casual bring-your-own-chair vibe, surrounded by Watersound Town Center dining and shops
Planning tip: Grab dinner at one of the Town Center restaurants before the show and arrive by 5:45 PM for a prime lawn spot. Check the Cultural Arts Alliance calendar for any last-minute lineup updates.
Cost: Free admission — no tickets required
