<p>Every September 19, the Village of Baytowne Wharf transforms into the most festive pirate cove on the Emerald Coast when International Talk Like a Pirate Day rolls in. This free, family-friendly celebration invites landlubbers of all ages to dust off their pirate costumes and join the fun at one of Miramar Beach's most iconic outdoor villages.</p><p>Special guest Captain Davy leads the crew through an evening packed with swashbuckling entertainment: an interactive scavenger hunt through the village, two live magic shows on the central stage at 7 PM and 8 PM, a pirate costume contest where the best-dressed buccaneer wins bragging rights, and enough pirate mayhem to make even the saltiest sea dog smile. The evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks show over the lagoon at 9 PM.</p><p>The event is free and takes place rain or shine at the picturesque Baytowne Wharf, surrounded by boutique shops and waterfront restaurants. Come early for dinner at one of the village's many eateries, then stay for the full evening of festivities. Whether you're five or fifty, Talk Like a Pirate Day at Baytowne is pure Emerald Coast magic — arrr!</p>
