One of the Gulf Coast’s most beloved fishing traditions returns with Stinky’s Fall Pompano & Grand Slam Tournament, a month-long catch-and-release surf fishing competition staged along the stunning beaches of South Walton. Anglers target a rotating roster of inshore species — pompano, flounder, redfish, and more — competing for cash prizes, custom trophies, and serious bragging rights on one of the most scenic stretches of the Florida Panhandle.
The tournament runs through late October, giving participants an entire month to find their fish. Daily weigh-ins happen at Stinky’s Fish Camp & Bait Shack on 30A, where the camp’s legendary laid-back vibe, fresh bait, and local fishing intel make it the perfect home base for the competition. Registration is open to surf fishing beginners and seasoned veterans alike.
