The Seaside Institute honors its 2027 Seaside Prize recipient Janette Sadik-Khan during a weekend of lectures, conversations, and celebration in the iconic town of Seaside, Florida. Sadik-Khan, the renowned urban designer who transformed New York City's streetscapes during her tenure as Transportation Commissioner, will be recognized for her visionary contributions to public space and livable communities.
The awards ceremony takes place on the evening of February 6 at The Chapel at Seaside, preceded by a public lecture and followed by community events. The Seaside Prize has been awarded since 1989 to individuals whose work advances the principles of walkable, human-scaled communities.
