The Pink Pirates 5K for Breast Cancer is one of the Emerald Coast's most heartfelt charity races, returning for its 12th year at beautiful Navarre Beach. Organized by the Pink Pirates, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2013, the event has raised over $180,000 to fund mammograms for women who need them — one stride at a time.
Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome to participate in this scenic beachside course starting and finishing at the Navarre Beach Boat Parking Lot on Gulf Blvd. Whether you're chasing a personal record or simply strolling along the Gulf in solidarity, the event is as much a celebration of survivors and supporters as it is a race. The first 200 registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, and a virtual participation option is available for those who can't make it in person.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, making this race a meaningful way to spend a morning on the Emerald Coast. Dress in your best pirate-pink gear, gather your crew, and join a community that proves every mile matters.
