<p>The annual Paddle for Prevention returns to the emerald waters of 30A, inviting paddleboarders of every skill level to ride for a cause that matters. Organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), this morning event on the Gulf offers both a casual open-water paddle and a team SUP race — so whether you're a seasoned boarder or picking up a paddle for the first time, there's a spot for you on the water.</p><p>The event kicks off at 8:30 AM at Ed Walline Regional Beach Access, one of the most beautiful beach access points on Scenic Highway 30A. Teams and solo paddlers push off into the warm Gulf, enjoying stunning views of the sugar-white shoreline while raising awareness and funds for mental health support. After the race, everyone gathers for a well-earned after-party at La Playa featuring food, drinks, and community.</p><p>Paddle for Prevention perfectly captures what 30A is all about: stunning scenery, a tight-knit community, and using the healing power of the water for good.
