About this event
The Musical Echoes Native American Flute Festival is one of the most unique and moving cultural events in Northwest Florida, and it has been a cherished tradition at Fort Walton Beach Landing Park since 2001. Each April, performers from Native American traditions gather to share the evocative, meditative sounds of the handcrafted wooden flute in an outdoor setting that feels worlds away from the busy resort strip just minutes away.
The festival features live musical performances across multiple stages, traditional arts and crafts vendors offering authentic handmade jewelry, pottery, textiles, and woodwork, as well as cultural demonstrations of dance, storytelling, and traditional skills. Families can explore educational exhibits and purchase unique crafts directly from artists who carry on generations of tradition.
This completely free, three-day event draws flute enthusiasts, art collectors, and culturally curious visitors from across the Gulf Coast and beyond. The parkland setting along the bay in Fort Walton Beach creates an atmosphere of peaceful immersion in music and culture โ a genuinely rare experience that invites you to slow down, listen, and connect. All are welcome, no prior knowledge needed.
