Via de Luna Drive, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561
Each year, Pensacola Beach erupts in full Mardi Gras splendor — and the centerpiece is the legendary Krewe of Wrecks parade. On February 7, 2027, this beloved beach institution celebrates its 45th annual parade, rolling down Via de Luna Drive with oversized floats, krewe royalty, marching units, and the enthusiastic throwing of beads, trinkets, and throws that makes Mardi Gras season irresistible.
The parade begins at Avenida 10 and winds its way westward to Gulfside Pavilion, where spectators line the route with anticipation. After the parade disbands, the party continues at the Pavilion with live music, a spirited awards ceremony crowning the best float designs and costumes, and the warm camaraderie of Gulf Coast Mardi Gras season. Admission along the entire parade route is free.
For visitors staying in Destin or Miramar Beach, Pensacola Beach is just 45 minutes west — and the Krewe of Wrecks makes a fantastic day trip. Add in lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants on the beach, and you've got a perfect winter Sunday on the Gulf Coast.
