<p>Every Tuesday evening from early June through late July, the beachfront at The Island Resort on Okaloosa Island becomes one of the Emerald Coast's liveliest free events. The Sunset Concert Series & Fireworks draws families, couples, and visitors with an irresistible combination of live music, food trucks, kids activities, and a brilliant fireworks show that lights up the Gulf sky as darkness falls.</p><p>Grab a spot on the Beach Patio as local and regional musicians set the tone for a perfect coastal evening. Food trucks serve up a rotating lineup of bites to suit every craving, and kids can burn off energy with dedicated activities while parents relax with drinks in hand. As the sun dips toward the Gulf, the fireworks show kicks off — a spectacular finish to a night that costs you nothing to attend.</p><p>This is Fort Walton Beach summer at its finest. The Island Resort is easy to reach from Destin and the 30A corridor, and the event is free and open to the public. Day passes and private cabana rentals are also available for those who want to make it a full beach day before the evening begins.</p>
