About this event

For the first time, the G&G Society and Friends Gathering opens its doors to the public—and the 2026 edition lands at Alys Beach, one of 30A’s most architecturally celebrated communities. Running October 22–25, this four-day immersive experience brings together celebrated chefs, designers, winemakers, musicians, conservationists, and storytellers shaping the modern South.

Highlights include curated chef dinners, a session with Caymus Vineyards winemaker Chuck Wagner, architectural tours led by Alys Beach designer Marieanne Khory-Vogt and architect Bobby McAlpine, an oyster and conservation conversation with Oyster South’s Beth Walton, and live music from singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards. Garden & Gun CEO Rebecca Darwin and Editor in Chief David DiBenedetto are on hand throughout the gathering.

Tickets at $2,800 per person are all-inclusive for event programming; lodging at Alys Beach is booked separately. This is a rare chance to experience Alys Beach’s extraordinary setting alongside some of the South’s most compelling creative voices.
