The 16th Annual Festa Italiana fills this beautiful downtown greenspace with the aromas of homemade shrimp scampi, classic pastas, crispy cannoli, fresh bread, and traditional Italian sweets — all crafted with care by the local Italian-American community who have turned this festival into one of the Gulf Coast's most beloved fall traditions.
Beyond the incredible food, the festival showcases live Italian folk music and traditional entertainment throughout both days, giving the park a warm Old World atmosphere that transports you straight to a piazza in Southern Italy. Browse cultural exhibits, shop from local artisan vendors, and let the kids enjoy family-friendly activities woven throughout the grounds. For those 21 and older, the shaded wine garden is the perfect spot to sip a glass of Chianti or Prosecco while soaking in the festive ambiance.
Running from 11am to 6pm on both Friday and Saturday, Festa Italiana is an easy day-trip or an ideal add-on to a weekend spent exploring Pensacola's incredible historic district, vibrant waterfront, and world-class beaches. Downtown parking is close and walkable, and admission to browse the grounds is free — come hungry, come curious, and stay for the music.
