About this event

Something exciting is making its debut on the Emerald Coast art scene: the inaugural Emerald Coast Arts Festival, produced by the Arts & Design Society of Fort Walton Beach, brings together 60 to 100 of the nation's finest juried fine artists for a landmark two-day event. Paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics and mixed media from artists selected through a rigorous national jury process will fill the festival grounds in the heart of Fort Walton Beach.

The festival awards $5,000 in cash prizes across multiple categories, giving collectors and art lovers a chance to discover — and own — work from some of America's most talented working artists. Beyond the galleries, expect live demonstrations, artist talks, and a festive atmosphere perfect for a weekend art-walk experience with the family.

As a first-year event, this is your chance to be part of history on the Emerald Coast. Fort Walton Beach's warm April weather and the vibrant Gulf Coast backdrop make for a perfect setting to wander, appreciate, and take home a piece of original art.

Best for: Art collectors, families, culture seekers, anyone wanting to discover new artists
