<p>As October settles over the Emerald Coast, Eden Gardens State Park transforms into an open-air cinema for three magical Thursday evenings under its centuries-old live oak canopy. The Friends of Eden Gardens select classic films with a spooky or seasonal twist, projecting them on a large outdoor screen as the gnarled, moss-draped oaks create a naturally atmospheric backdrop.</p><p>Bring your own chairs, blankets, and a cooler for snacks and drinks — this is a relaxed event where the setting does all the heavy lifting. Concessions are also available on-site. Admission is just the standard $4 per vehicle state park entrance fee, making it one of the most affordable evenings of entertainment on the coast.</p><p>Screenings take place on October 8, 15, and 22, 2026, starting at 6:30pm. Located in Point Washington near Scenic 30A, Eden Gardens is an easy evening trip from any 30A or Miramar Beach vacation rental. It is the perfect October date night or family outing when you want something different from the beach scene.</p>
