A tender wartime romance told through letters, live on the Gulf Coast stage
February 18, 2027 – February 28, 2027
560 Grand Blvd., Suite 200, Miramar Beach, FL 32550
Ken Ludwig's tender and witty two-hander Dear Jack, Dear Louise takes the stage at Emerald Coast Theatre Company as part of its landmark Season 14. The play tells the true story of Ludwig's parents — an Army doctor stationed in Oregon and a Broadway dancer in New York — who fall in love entirely through letters during World War II, never meeting face to face until the war ends.
Performed Thursday through Sunday across two weekends in February, this intimate production captures the longing, humor, and hope of wartime correspondence. ECTC's Season 14 runs September 2026 through May 2027, bringing professional-quality theatre to the Emerald Coast at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach.
