Saddle up, pup parents! Dog Daze returns to the beautiful bayfront Liza Jackson Park in Fort Walton Beach for a full day of four-legged fun and family entertainment. This year's festival dons a Wild West theme, with the tail-wagging action running from 9 AM to 3 PM on October 12. Whether you're a local or a vacationer, bring your furry crew and join in on one of the Emerald Coast's most beloved community celebrations.

The day is packed with crowd-pleasing events including the fan-favorite Dachshund races (hilarious every time), the Wild West Pet Parade and Costume Contest where dressed-up dogs compete for glory, and a rollicking small dog stampede. Beyond the competitions, families can browse pet-friendly vendors, connect with pet adoption agencies, and take advantage of the on-site rabies vaccination and microchip clinic presented by PAWS.

Dog Daze is a feel-good event with heart, presented in partnership with Friendship Veterinary Hospital, the City of Fort Walton Beach, and the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. All dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations. There's no charge for humans, just a suggested $3 donation per pet. Come for the races, stay for the smiles.
