Each October, Destin's famous harbor transforms into a seafood lover's paradise. The Destin Seafood Festival stretches nearly two miles along the Harbor Boardwalk from HarborWalk Village to Heron Harbor, featuring more than 100 food and craft vendors, two harbor-front live music stages, and a front-row seat to one of America's most storied fishing fleets.
This free-admission festival showcases the Gulf's finest catches — think peel-and-eat shrimp towers, crab legs, fresh-grilled mahi, blackened grouper, and Destin's legendary amberjack. Local chefs and vendors serve their very best alongside artisan crafts and family-friendly activities including dedicated kids' zones.
The festival kicks off the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo, making early October the absolute peak time to experience Destin's legendary seafood culture. Free shuttle service runs from nearby parking to the festival grounds, making it easy for the whole family to join the party without the hassle.
