<p>Start the Fourth of July celebrations early with Destins beloved Annual Independence Day Family Bike Parade at Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village on July 1st from 6 to 8 PM. Kids 14 and under decorate their bikes, scooters, and wagons with patriotic flair before rolling through in a heartwarming community parade. Parade check-in begins at 5:30 PM, and awards go to the best-decorated bikes by age category.</p><p>After the parade, the park comes alive with live music from a local artist, moonwalks for little ones, face painting, and a spirited bocce ball tournament. Its the kind of activity that gets every age group involved — and the decorated-bike photos are pure gold.</p><p>This is old-fashioned American summer at its finest: free, festive, family-forward, and set against the Emerald Coast.
