About this event
One of the Emerald Coast's most dazzling December traditions, the Destin Harbor Lighted Boat Parade returns for its 29th year on Sunday, December 13, 2026. As darkness falls, a flotilla of brilliantly decorated and lit vessels parades along Destin Harbor — from the eastern side of the harbor toward HarborWalk Village and out through the Destin Bridge and East Pass. Boats compete to out-dazzle each other with elaborate holiday lighting displays, earning awards for best-decorated vessels.
The parade begins at 6 PM and is absolutely free to watch from the harborwalk boardwalk, the Destin Bridge, Norriego Point Public Beach, or any waterfront vantage point along the harbor. Fireworks follow the parade at approximately 7:30 PM, lighting up the sky over the Destin Harbor in a spectacular holiday finale.
Come early and make an evening of it — HarborWalk Village restaurants like Tailfins, AJ's Seafood, and Margaritaville offer waterfront tables with prime parade views. For a truly memorable experience, book a holiday cruise with one of the harbor operators to watch the parade from the water.
