Clement Taylor Park, Destin, FL, 32541
The Destin 5K Rodeo Run is one of the signature events during the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo. Runners set off from Clement Taylor Park on Choctawhatchee Bay and wind through the historic neighborhoods of old Destin, the fishing village side of town that most visitors never see. Proceeds benefit the Miss Destin Scholarship Fund. Whether you are a serious runner or just looking for a fun way to start an October morning, the run is a great way to experience local community spirit during the Fishing Rodeo season.
Best for active vacationers, runners, and families who want to experience local community life alongside the Destin Fishing Rodeo.
A flat to rolling 5K course through Destin's older neighborhoods. Registration required in advance. Post-race festivities at Clement Taylor Park.
Pair this with a visit to the Destin Fishing Rodeo weigh-ins at AJ's Seafood the same day for a full Fishing Rodeo morning.
Registration fee required. Check the official Destin Fishing Rodeo website for current pricing and sign-up details.
