Now in its 8th year, Tricks & Treasures at The Boardwalk is Fort Walton Beach’s beloved Halloween tradition — a free, family-friendly blowout on Okaloosa Island the evening of October 31. From 5 PM until the fireworks finale at 8 PM, the Boardwalk transforms into a costumed carnival right on the Gulf.
Expect trick-or-treating stations, pirate entertainers, costumed stilt-walkers, jugglers, balloon artists, a lively DJ, and roaming character appearances. Kids and adults can enter costume contests throughout the evening, and participating Boardwalk restaurants hand out Kids Eat Free vouchers to make dinner part of the adventure.
With the Gulf of Mexico shimmering behind you and fireworks capping the night, this is as festive as Halloween gets on the Emerald Coast. Dress up the whole family, come early for dinner, and stay for the show — it’s one of the most fun free events of the fall season.
