The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island kicks off fall in style with a brand-new Columbus Day Weekend Celebration — a full week of free, family-friendly events right on the Emerald Coast. Whether you’re winding down a beach vacation or just looking for something fun in Fort Walton Beach, this lineup has something for everyone.
Kick things off Monday, October 5 with a swashbuckling Pirate Show (5:30–8 PM), then catch a Movie on the Beach Tuesday evening starting at 8 PM. Karaoke nights roll in Wednesday (Oct 7) and Sunday (Oct 11), with the finale on the 11th featuring a 9 PM fireworks show over the Gulf. All events are completely free and open to the public.
