Trick-or-treat in the sand at the Gulf Coast's favorite beachfront Halloween bash
October 20, 2026
16:00 – 20:00
Halloween comes early to Pensacola Beach with Beach-O-Ween, the free family festival on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. On the evening of October 20, the boardwalk transforms into a beachside trick-or-treat zone with costume contests, bounce houses, face painting, carnival games, and free candy — all with the Gulf of Mexico as your backdrop.
The event runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and admission is completely free, as are all the activities and candy. Families are encouraged to arrive in costume. The costume contest draws some of the most creative looks on the Gulf Coast and is a highlight of the evening for kids and parents alike.
Pensacola Beach is about an hour's drive west of Destin, making it a great day-trip option for vacationers staying in Destin or Miramar Beach who want to add a Halloween event to their itinerary. Parking is available at the boardwalk and surrounding lots. An easy, low-cost, memorable evening for the whole family.
Families with children, anyone who wants a free, fun Halloween experience on the beach
