About this event

Every Monday evening throughout summer 2026, the sparkling Baytowne Lagoon at the Village of Baytowne Wharf becomes the arena for one of the most jaw-dropping free shows on the Emerald Coast. Professional hydroflight athlete Ben Merrell straps on a water-powered flyboard and launches himself skyward — 30 to 40 feet above the lagoon's surface — in a breathtaking display of aquatic acrobatics that kids and adults alike find completely mesmerizing.

Shows are held at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, giving you two chances to claim a prime viewing spot along the lagoon's edge. Ben's mastery of the flyboard includes dramatic dives into the water, twisting aerial spins, and effortless hovering that makes the whole performance look like pure magic. It's one of those unexpected vacation moments that kids talk about long after they've returned home.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf buzzes with restaurants, shops, and live entertainment throughout the summer — pair the HydroFlight show with dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants, catch the simultaneous Movie Monday on the Events Plaza lawn, or stay for the Tuesday fireworks the next evening. Free admission makes this one of the best entertainment values in Miramar Beach all summer long.
