About this event

Put on your cowboy hat and saddle up for the Gulf because the Battle for the Buckle is heading back to Destin Harbor. This wildly fun saltwater fishing tournament pits captains and crews in a "Wild West battles the Beasts of the Gulf" showdown, targeting the trophy species that make Destin the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village." For boats 39 feet and under, it's the perfect grassroots tournament with over $30,000 in prizes on the line.

The action kicks off Wednesday evening with registration and Captain's Dinner and Calcutta at Harbor Docks. Fishing runs through Saturday with daily weigh-ins from 4–7 PM drawing spectators and anglers alike to the scales. A Sunday brunch wraps up the weekend with awards and camaraderie — and quite possibly a fish story you'll be telling for years.

Every dollar raised supports Westonwood Ranch, a remarkable non-profit that teaches life and job skills to teens and young adults with autism and developmental disorders.
