About this event
The 30A BBQ Festival returns to the North Lawn at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin for an all-you-can-eat evening of competition barbecue, craft beer, live music, and community. Pitmasters and local restaurants from across the Emerald Coast compete for the title of 30A's Best BBQ, voted on by festival guests with every bite.
This year's event features all-you-can-eat plates of smoked meats and sides, craft beer from Grayton Beer Company, wines from The 30A Company, a photo booth, silent auction, and live music by RIVER DAN. It's a festive, outdoor evening under the string lights of Grand Boulevard with fall temperatures making it the perfect night to be outside.
All proceeds benefit The Sonder Project, the nonprofit behind numerous humanitarian efforts on the Gulf Coast and beyond. Past events have raised record amounts - and this year's gala promises to do the same.
Best for: Foodies, couples, and families who love great barbecue and a good cause
What to expect: An all-you-can-eat BBQ tasting event with competing local pitmasters, craft beer and wine, live music, a silent auction, raffle, and a lively outdoor atmosphere at Grand Boulevard's North Lawn.
Planning tip: Tickets sell out quickly each year - purchase online as soon as they are available at 30a.com. This event historically sells out in advance; don't wait. Casual-chic dress is appropriate.
Cost: Tickets typically around $50-$75 per person; check 30a.com for current pricing. Proceeds benefit The Sonder Project.
